JOB PROFILE:
Industry leading manufacturer offers a career-oriented opportunity for one to supervise this plant's Safety and Compliance team and operation. This plant is a non-union, fast paced, JIT operation. You will report to the EH&S Manager.

You really need solid people skills, strong floor presence and a trusted advocate for the company's culture and safety initiatives. You'll want to engage the workforce, absorb issues and get feedback to optimally implement established behavior based safety programs. You will need a solid background in manufacturing environmental issues. Also, you will file Worker's Comp claims, assist in safety training, work on EH&S projects and ,maintain OSHA and EPA programs.

We are looking for one who wants solid career and advancement opportunities, eventually willing to move into different departments and has the aptitude for career advancement.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors degree
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Project management experience
Experience identifying and implementing innovative plant based environmental and safety incentive programs
Outstanding people skills - promote behavior based safety programs
Solid safety tools - 5S, Kaizen, root cause
Solid communication, organization and time management skills
. Work a split shift over 1st and 3rd shiftEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
