The ideal candidate must have experience with electrical, plumbing, HVAC and general building maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Determine what needs to be fixed and who will fix it.
Schedule maintenance work and check the work once it is completed.
Assist maintenance staff in repairing everyday problems related to building systems and mechanical devices.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance staff.
Assign maintenance-related tasks to staff members.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
The Maintenance Technician must:
Have a High School Diploma or GED.
Have basic computer skills.
Have a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
Scheduling flexibility is required to accommodate client admissions, census and needs of the facility.
Must hold a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and provide own insured transportation.
Additional duties as directed by the Operations Manager.
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
Maintains adherence to HIPAA compliance in ALL communication regarding clients in treatment Must have knowledge of applicable building codes related to healthcare preferred.
Must have general knowledge of specialized areas including electrical secondary systems, plumbing systems, fire system devices and air systems.
Must have the ability to read and interpret information from blue prints, schematics, and diagrams.
Must have a general knowledge in the use of power and hand tools.
Must be able to follow instructions and complete work independently.
PREEMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Satisfactory OIG exclusions and background check Successfully complete a drug screening Must have received, or be willing to receive, the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire.
Proof of vaccination or exemption is required.
