Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients.
Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in medical office setting.
Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by physician.

Responsibilities:
LPN Works under the direction of the provider and the Arizona State Nurse Practice Act to provide professional nursing care for clinic patients in compliance with nursing standards and regulations.
Triage patients by phone or in person, receiving and implementing telephone physician orders, maintaining clinical communication in a dynamic environment.
Assists providers and staff in coordinating patient care for both clinic and procedures.
Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens.
Performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests.
May perform venipuncture.
MA Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision (in the office suite or exam room) of a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner.
Escorts patient to the exam room and prepares patient for the exam including vital stats, history, and reason for seeking care.
Cross trains in data entry, balancing of accounts, charge fees and collect payments due Schedules/confirms appointments.
Performs CLIA waived lab tests and obtains specimens.
Performs proficiency testing and runs controls for waived tests.
May perform venipuncture.
Qualifications:
LPN Candidates Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program High school or Equivalent Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification MA Candidates High School or Equivalent American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification Must meet one of the following criteria:
Has attended an approved medical assistant training program by one of the following:
The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs; or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools; If attended an unapproved training program and successfully passes the medical assistant examination administered by a certifying organization accredited by either the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute, such as:
NHA - CCMA AMT - RMA AAMA - CMA NCCT - NCMA NAHP -NRCMA Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States Work Requirements:
Able to distinguish appropriate colors, ability to work above or below shoulder level, life to 50 pounds, and walk or be on feet 90% of the day.
Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues, to chemicals, biological, and radioactive substances.
