Masters, or Bachelors plus 3yr exp Seeking independent contractors to work with our company as we help people with disabilities explore employment opportunities.
We seek to improve the lives of people with disabilities, by assisting them in finding ways to be independent and have a self directed life- Employment is a key step in this process.
You need to have a heart for service, and a brain for getting it done, well.
Pay range of $20-$35 per hour, depending on experience.
You will be paid monthly, the first pay check in 3-5 weeks after start.
You must have transportation, and a flexible schedule.
Must pass background check, have experience working with people with disabilities.
People seeking a second job are ideal.
Basic Job Requirements:
Masters, or Bachelors 3yr, exp , or H/S 7 years exp.

Demonstrate knowledge and competence by evidence of documented training and/or work experience, in the following areas:
a.
Disabilities Awareness to include the following areas of impairment:
deafness, blindness, physical, cognitive (learning disabilities), brain injury, developmental/cognitive, serious mental illness, etc.
; b.
Barriers and issues that prevent individuals with disabilities (particularly severe disabilities) from entering and succeeding in the workplace; c.
Strategies necessary for achieving successful, long-term employment outcomes for Individuals with disabilities and how these strategies will lead to improved employment outcomes; d.
Work Readiness and Employability Skills.

Hold a Master's Degree in a related field (e.
g.
, Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Education, etc.
) with documentation of one (1) year of full time employment working with individuals with disabilities; or 3.
Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.

) with documentation of three (3) years of full time employment in working with individuals with disabilities; or 4.
Hold a high school diploma or GED with documentation of seven (7) years of full time employment in working with individuals with disabilities.
