Disposing of household hazardous waste can be difficult and inconvenient.
That's where HazAwayToday comes in.
We make this experience easy and convenient for the customer.
You come with a great personality, work ethic and drive for personal growth and we provide the training and opportunity! Responsibilities of a warehouse material handler:
Safely receive, inspect, and classify incoming hazardous materials and waste.
Properly label, store, and manage hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory standards.
Operate and maintain equipment, such as forklifts and material handling tools, ensuring their safety and functionality.
Participate in routine inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stored materials.
Collaborate with team members to plan and execute waste disposal procedures.
Monitor and respond to emergency situations, such as spills or leaks, following established protocols.
Comply with all safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and actively promote a safety-conscious work environment.
Assist with routine facility cleaning and maintenance to ensure a clean and organized workspace.
Support environmental compliance efforts and assist in preparing documentation for regulatory reporting.
Required:
